Kingfisher Painting Services is proud to be working on a landmark new office building in Green Hills. The Mutual (formerly Maitland Mutual Building Society) is developing the site previously occupied by KFC. This area is now one of the Newcastle & the Hunter Region’s largest and busiest retail centres.
We have provided external and internal painting using Murabond texture coats to rendered surfaces to the six-story building which will complement the recent expansion of the shopping precinct.
The building, designed by architecture firm DWP presents a hyper modern style structure in the same vein as the University of Newcastle’s New Space building in the Newcastle CBD. The modern design features special structural elements, including a large exposed Y-shaped column supporting level four and higher. The building will be six storeys high, incorporating a multi-level carpark and three levels of commercial space.
