Currently the team are working on a complete internal and external restoration of the Rathmines Community Hall located in Rathmines.
Primarily the hall was used as a recreation area for a number of activities including the Picture, Theatre/Dance Hall, Canteen and Gymnasium. The Airmen’s mess, Ablution Block and Catering Stores were located to the right of this building. The aim of this restoration will be to provide the community and surrounding Westlake’s areas with a performing arts centre that will become a space to bring the community together and exhibit true talent.
We have ensured that the full repaint has complied with heritage regulations and lead based paint encapsulation and other lead-based controls were utilised.
